EXAMPLE MODEL NUMBER LOCATIONS
CRAFTSMAN product model numbers determine the service outlet that will best be able to meet your needs. Below are a few examples showing where you can locate product identifying numbers.
RIDING MOWER
Riding mower model numbers are found by flipping the seat forward. The model number is printed on the left side of the Product Identification Label, attached to the underside of the seat, and starts with the letters, "CM".
ZERO-TURN RIDER
Zero-Turn mower model numbers are found by flipping the seat forward. The model number is printed on the left side of the Product Identification Label, attached to the metal bracket that supports the seat, and begins with the letters, "CM".
PUSH MOWERS (WALK-BEHIND AND SELF-PROPELLED)
The Product Identification Label is typically located on or near the cutting deck beginning with the letters, "CM".
CHIPPER SHREDDER
Chipper-Shredder model numbers are found on the metal base near the starter housing. The 11-character model number is printed on the left side of the Product Identification Label, beginning with the letters, "CM".
SNOW-BLOWER
Snow-blower model numbers are located on the backside of the metal base between the left and right rear-wheels. The 11-character model number is printed on the left side of the Product Identification Label and will begin with the letters "CM".
